The Caliber Story:  Since the release of Reef Point's first compliance software product in 2006, customers have asked "when are you going to build a complete management software product?"  Our initial plan was to integrate with existing products, and many attempts were made to achieve this goal.  It seemed that while most property management software companies expressed an interest in integrating with Reef Point, most were unable or unwilling to make it happen, despite substantial customer feedback in favor of integration.  In 2008, having made little progress on the integration front, and in the face of overwhelming customer interest, Reef Point marshalled the expertise and resources necessary to build and support its own property management software. Why the name "Caliber"?  When we asked an existing customer about the idea of Reef Point building its own property management software, her reply was:  "... if it's the same caliber as your compliance and maintenance software, we will buy it."  And thus, "Caliber" was born.  As with our compliance and maintenance software, Reef Point has made the effort to provide the major features customers expect, and also provide the attention to detail we're famous for.
